Evolution of Dance
In 2006 Judson posted a video of his finale a 30 song six-minute routine called “The Evolution of Dance” on little known site called YouTube. It chronicles the last 50 years of popular dances one right after the other. In the next few months the video became a viral sensation and was passed from e-mail to e-mail, posted in countless blogs, discussed on endless talk shows and podcasts, and the entire world watched as the video amassed over 70 millions views in under 6 months and helped propel YouTube to the status it has today. It is considered one of the best viral videos of all time and currently has over 290 million views.
